I recently read an article that gave a few tips on how to properly use email in a professional setting. When reading through proper etiquette to use on the net I was reminded why my generation needs to graduate and become a part of this professional world. This world that apparently doesn't seem to understand that it is inappropriate to type in all caps, or that they need to be concise. These things seem instinctive to anyone I talk to in any of my classes. Not one person would think it a good idea to respond to spam. I am encouraged to see these lists because it seems there is a demand for people who already know these things.

...does this mean that abbreviating in emails is poor etiquette?
